"Family Structure has an enormous impact on the well being of children." Carolyn C. Rogers

When a young woman matures in a home without a father, the precentage of these young women having children out of marriage increases from 13.9% to 22.5%.
A study conducted in 1998 found that 39% of single-mother homes lived in poverty.
A child growing up in a two-parent home usually has a less likely chance to live in poverty than one in a single-parent home.
Children who live in a two-parent home are less likely to be involved in criminal activities, are less likely to have bad behavioral issues, are less likely to get involved in alcohol and drugs and are more likely to be more successful in school and in life.
Children living in a single-parent home suffer because each parent nurtures a child differently.
Children living in a single-parent home suffer because they need a different parent for different times in their lives.
Overall, children who live in two-parent homes benefit greatly in many ways!!!
