HOMOSEXUALITY: The Unspoken View

LIfe, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is not a cliche spoken by public homosexuals. These people believe that those words are the very backbone to America's way of living. Many journalists ask that common question, "What is wrong with homosexuality?" The answer seems to come bellowing out from different voices such as the scientist, the religious men of God, the moral spectators, and the government's opinionated representatives. When will there be a balance of opinions, a simple compromise?

Homosexuality is no AIDS epidemic, but it is still a strong topic of conversation that many tend to ignore. Too many people are consumed in fear that their paths might cross with a person who has a different opinion. The fear that someone might be different is almost humorous. I envy those who "waste their entire lives" in pursuit of a fresh new perspective. That life would be lived well. To pursue diverse acquaintances would allow someone to broaden their horizons in a land of opinion. We need to hear the whisper of difference.
