Democracy is a form of government in which citizen’s rule through elected representatives. The United States is an example of a Democracy. Congress (elected representatives) listen to what the public wants and writes laws to reflect the wishes of the people. This of coarse works for everyone because the people get what they want and congress can still control what is happening. |
